This upcoming Friday October 19th in Calgary, Alberta is one event that you guys should go and check out! Candyland for Cancer will be graciously held at Ubu Lounge (608 1st Street SW) downtown of Calgary. Lis Perez, the owner of True Beauty Online and Designs by DJ Perez is finally witnessing the dream coming true.

“Organizing and hosting an event such as this has ALWAYS been a childhood dream of mine. My mother was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer when she was in her 30′s. I was about 12 years old at the time. Now, almost 20 years later, she is truly an AMAZING fighter. Needless to say, she has been diagnosed a few times since her first treatment, however she still remains strong. Organizing and hosting a Breast Cancer event is VERY dear to my heart, therefore I am VERY excited to have it become reality.” – Lis Perez

The doors open at 8pm, with only $10 at the door, make sure you can attend to show support for a great cause! Keep your eyes peeled for a fashion show, silent auction, candy/dessert buffet, pink chocolate fountain and many more lovely things! Dress code requires at least some dress up cocktail outfits with twists of creations relating to the Candyland theme!
