COMPANY PROFILE

FASHIONSIGN Magazine (also known as FSM) is an up and coming magazine in Calgary, Alberta.

Written from an industry insider point of view, FASHIONSIGN features content written by professionals and enthusiasts in the Fashion, Beauty, Design (interior and architectural), Art and Photography fields.

The company is the inspiration of our CEO Tessa Lerbekmo-Joyes.

The first issue was available online in March of 2011. In September 2011, the company had its official launch party coinciding with the publication of the second issue, helping increase public knowledge and showcasing FSM.

Our product is continually growing and changing to be become the leading magazine that gives anyone interested in Calgary the information to what is innovative, new and upcoming in Calgary’s creative industries.

Our differentiating factor is that our content is primarily Calgarian, we profile our city in the same light you would see New York or L.A. All the hot spots and hidden gems within our city are given the exposure that they deserve within our pages, may it be people or businesses.

Inside the magazine are many places that people here may not have experienced or even know about.  In addition, we feature international emerging artists and content. Our magazine is easily accessible online, and hard copies are available for purchase through MagCloud.

INDUSTRY PROFILE AND OUTLOOK

The business we are in is a public service one: making sure the people who want new information about Calgary’s creative industry have a periodical reference. The Creative industry is one which is constantly changing and evolving and this will be one of the fundamental benefits of our product. We will guide readers to the newest, biggest and brightest stars of these industries. Since creativity can never be stifled, we have no lack of inspiration to draw our content from.
