Earlier in this year, Runway Monthly was created to help give Calgary fashion and art lovers new creations and hype to look forward to every two months. Created by Katie Karvellas and Danielle Kondruk, they have built a brand for Runway Monthly throughout this young and fresh city. We could not ask for better organizers in Calgary to produce great fashion shows such as Runway Monthly.

The designers that showcased their collections down the runway were MacKenzie Jones, Salonska Lingerie, Apt 22, Rukhsana Nadeem and PUSCH. Great looking models from Sophia International Models wore beautiful designs and had their make up done by Sophia International Institute of Makeup & Design and their hair created by Blo Dry Bar. Runway Monthly on October 20th, 2012 was held at the Exchange Social Club, downtown of Calgary.

The concept of Runway Monthly was brought into Calgary because we feel like there is a need for more fashion in the city thus the idea of making it monthly (which later transitioned to bi-monthly) event.
